Safety
How to keep your account and your communities safe, and what we do when something goes wrong.
Last updated: 2026-10-22
If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. Then tell us through Support → Report abuse or a safety issue.
Protect your account
- Use a long password you don't use anywhere else, and turn on two-step verification.
- Check your active sessions from time to time and close the ones you don't recognise.
- Your sessions are tied to your device: a copied token or cookie doesn't work anywhere else.
- We email you when someone signs in from a new device or country. If it wasn't you, change your password straight away.
Scams and phishing
- Nobody from Voznest will ask for your password, your codes or a payment. Staff only write from @voznest.com addresses and from the app.
- Be wary of “free gifts”, fake giveaways, links that imitate Voznest and files from people you don't know.
- If someone asks you to paste code into your browser's console, it's a scam: it can give them your account.
Your tools
Block
Blocked people can't message you, call you or see your activity, and you won't see their messages.
Report
Report any message, profile or hub with the Report option. Reports go to the hub's moderators or to Trust & Safety.
Privacy controls
Choose who can send you direct messages and friend requests, and whether your activity is shown.
Content filter
Explicit images can be filtered automatically in direct messages and hubs.
Tools for hubs
- Guardian: block keywords, spam, mass mentions, links and invites before anyone sees them.
- Verification levels: require a verified email or a minimum account age to take part.
- Raid protection and lockdown: pause new joins and messages while you deal with an attack.
- The audit log records every moderation action with who did it.
How we handle reports
- Reports about illegal content, threats, child safety and self-harm are reviewed first.
- Trust & Safety decides with the Community guidelines and the context of each case; we may remove content, restrict features, or suspend or ban accounts and hubs.
- Whoever is sanctioned is told why and can appeal from Support → Appeal a sanction. A different person reviews the appeal.
- We report child sexual abuse material to the authorities and work with law enforcement when the law requires it.
Young people
You must be at least 13 years old to use Voznest (or older where your country requires it). Hubs with adult content must be marked as such and are hidden from younger people.
Security of the platform
Passwords are hashed with Argon2id, sessions use short-lived tokens bound to your device, private files are only served through expiring signed links, and every permission is checked on our servers. Found a vulnerability? Report it through Support → Technical problems; please don't share it publicly until it's fixed.
